The Champaign Urbana Schools Foundation (CUSF) is committed to enriching the community by encouraging educational initiatives and facilitating excellence in education in the public schools of Champaign-Urbana, Illinois.
Since 1990, CUSF has accepted applications each year from educators in the Champaign and Urbana public schools, and made grant awards based on these proposals. CUSF funds a broad spectrum of projects to help children of all ages and all levels of accomplishment, with continuing benefits long after the initial investment.
CUSF 2008 ANNUAL FUND Drive Underway!
CUSF raises money every year from you and the community to keep our programs running. We work every day to make our schools stronger, better places to teach and to learn. Since August, we have distributed over $175,000.00 in grants to our two districts. This restricted money is making a difference in energizing our teaching staff and providing new books and technology for our children as well as improvements in 21 other areas of requests for support. One parent told me that her child had 4 different teachers who had received support this fall!
We need your help to keep pushing, to keep making improvements, to keep making up for insufficient tax support. We can make a difference together! Make an on-line donation today or call us and we can help!
